We invite you to head west this year to the sunset ocean

Where you can linger in the colourful transition from day to night,
Enticed towards a far horizon - empty, yet rich and full of promise,

at Point Walter, PERTH
from 5pm Thursday the 16th till 3pm Sunday, the 19th of August 2018.

In dialogue with our special Guests from the Goetheanum
Bodo von Plato and Constanza Kaliks
we will explore the following themes in delicious depth:

'When Knowing Becomes Love'

Dear friends,
As General Secretary for the Anthroposophical Society in Australia I heartily encourage you to make time in life for a wonderful few days of long, deep-reaching, wide-ranging dialogue with  Constanza Kaliks and Bodo von Plato at our Annual Conference in Perth.

This is Bodo’s final journey as a member of the Goetheanum Executive. He and Constanza work in stimulating and poetic symbiosis, and I am certain you will draw rich nourishment from this experience, in addition to enjoying the feast for body and soul that the Perth organisers are preparing for us.

See you in Perth!
Jan Baker-Finch

Welcome!
The Western Australia Branch of the Anthroposophical Society in Australia invites you to the 2018 Annual Conference to be held in Perth in August.

Our guest presenters are Bodo von Plato and Constanza Kaliks from Dornach.

Using dialogue and discussion, rather than formal lectures, our guests will be exploring a new way of working with groups.

This is a unique opportunity to share in what will be an extraordinary gathering of souls. We will explore the realm of ‘Heart Thinking’: in particular, the themes of ‘Perceiving with the heart’ and ‘When knowing becomes love.’

The venue is the same as we used in 2008 for the Michael Easter Festival, which featured the new Mystery Drama “The Beemaster”: Point Walter Reserve.

We in the WA Branch are intent on creating the space for those in attendance to experience the spiritual beings that will gather with us.

Please come and share this time with us!

The Choir of the New
By Barbara Edwards

'If you want to go fast
Go alone
If you want to go far
Go together'

So goes
The saying of old

Human beings
In the becoming
Striving to go far
'Thursday's child
Has far to go'

So speaks
The nursery rhyme of old

We need to go far
Breathing slow
Breathing fast
As ever the terrain demands

Listening, looking
Following, leading
Encouraging, caring
Asking, finding
Sharing, learning

Alone and Together
Many and One
Always connecting
Parting, re-connecting

So sings
The Choir of the New

So sounds
The Cosmic Symphony

Seeded before Time
And danced
Afresh each Day

The new independence
Is interdependence
Freely yielding and
Both can grow

Willing weavers weaving
Connecting the strands
Down and up
Forth and back

True minds
Open hearts
Skilled hands
Strong and steadfast feet

Loving, serving the Good of the World

Every today
Has been a tomorrow
Every tomorrow
Will be a today

Never-ending
Ever-beginning
Glorious Story of Now
